Flo Paladino has extensive experience in human resources in the broader public sectors. Today, Flo is an independent HR consultant, providing HR expertise and advice to various broader public sector employers in the areas of HR strategy development, organizational change, executive recruitment, and management coaching. Prior to Flo's move back to the Niagara Region, she was the head of Human Resources at OMERS, one of Canada's largest pension plans, with $52 billion in net investment assets. Reporting directly to the President and CEO, Flo was responsible for leading a team of professionals in the management of OMERS intellectual capital - its people. During Flo's tenure with OMERS, Mediacorp recognized OMERS as one of Canada's Top 100 Employers, three years in a row.
Prior to joining OMERS, Flo had 14 years of diverse experience working for the Government of Ontario.
Flo holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics, and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Labour Studies from McMaster University. She also completed Harvard's program for Compensation Committees and has a certificate from the Rotman School of Business in Managing Strategic Change.
