Dialysis Services - Chronic Kidney Disease Program
Outpatient Dialysis services are available at St. Catharines' Ontario Street Site and Welland Hospital Site. Specially-trained registered nurses, dialysis technologists, ward clerks, unit clerks and managers work in the Centres. A team of dialysis physicians (nephrologists) are associated with the Centres. Dietitians, social workers, pharmacists, and pastoral care staff also work closely with our patients. Pre-dialysis orientation for patients includes education on treatment and its effect on health, diet, lifestyle and family.

There are 15 medical/nephrology beds to support this program, also located at Welland Hospital Site.
