Pulmonary Function Lab
This inpatient and outpatient lab analyzes lung function to assist in the diagnosis of respiratory disorders. Pulmonary function studies are conducted using breathing tests such as spirometry (St. Catharines General, Greater Niagara General, Port Colborne General Site, and Welland Hospital Sites), methacholine challenges (SCG and GNG Sites), lung diffusion (SCG, WH and GNG Sites), skin allergy testing (SCG Site) and arterial blood gas testing (SCG, GNG and WH Sites).
